Catfish Marine (Simfab Custom Worx) designs & manufactures the Catfish, a rugged, all-aluminum catamaran fishing boat, in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.

Simfab Custom Worx Inc was started in 2008 by Mike Simpson, a 13 year veteran in the custom aluminum and marine industry. Simfab has intentionally remained a small 3 person shop focusing on high quality, specialty, and custom projects.

Having a passion for fishing as well as boating, Mike wanted to build new breed of fishing boat with maximum stability for inland lakes. After boating with his family and friends in traditional v-hull boats with limited mobility and unstable performance, Mike set about engineering a completely different hull design. After rigorous research and testing, a unique catamaran-style hull became the obvious choice. Now, after several years of development and refinement, the Catfish is a reality.
